SINGING CIRCLE - NOV 2025

We gathered across the world in song, remembering music as medicine and community as nourishment. From Patrick Belém’s “Macum Babô” to joyful Yawanawá prayers and powerful Huni Kuin Huni Meka, these ancestral songs weave rhythm, devotion and forest wisdom, inviting you to listen, sing, move your body, light a candle and keep the circle alive at home, breathing with the rivers, trees and unseen ones who sing with you.

At Beyond Sounds, we gather each month to sing songs chosen collectively by our online community of over 300 members from around the world. Each gathering is a shared space to connect through music that carries healing, meaning, and tradition. In this session, we begin with “Aguila Andina” by Luiz Murakami, a soaring prayer from the mountains, followed by “Little Blue” by Jacob Collier, bringing playfulness, harmony, and innocence into the space. We then open into “Macum Babô” by Patrick Belém, a powerful Afro-Brazilian chant carried by rhythm, story, and ancestral memory. From there, the circle moves into the Andes with “Juñuy Taki” by Indios Beta, including a special video message from Adrian Rain Forest, before flowing into “O Céu Vai Se Abrir” by Família Cristal, an invocation of hope and spiritual clarity. We continue with “Nuvi Nuvi,” a joyful prayer from the Yawanawá, and deepen into the Huni Kuin lineage with teachings about the Huni Meka, the sacred songs of the forest, before singing Pae Txanima, a powerful prayer from the Huni Kuin tradition. To close, we soften into “Casa das Flores” by Ale de Maria, a hymn of beauty, presence, and the sacred simplicity of everyday life.

It is important to remember that our aim extends far beyond learning to play or sing a song correctly. These songs are alive; they move through us, transform us, and connect us with nature and the sacred traditions that carry them. In this space, repetition is not mechanical, but an opening to creativity, intuition, and presence. The magic of these songs unfolds uniquely for each person, inviting you to nurture reverence in your practice and discover your own relationship to the music.

Through these masterclasses, we embrace music not as a performance, but as a living spirit that harmonizes with us and through us, an ever-unfolding journey of connection, healing, and creation.

    LUIS PIAZZETTA

Growing up in a musical family, I was surrounded by creativity and prayer from a very young age. As I grew older, music became a second skin and I fell in love with playing guitar and singing. It took me a while to feel comfortable to play in front of other people. I remember how judgmental and hypercritical I used to be. Music took me into a deep journey of self acceptance that still unfolding and rippling thought all my relations.

Throughout my life, I have discovered the importance of exploring spirituality and connecting people through love. Music has become my medicine to express the great mystery within us all. I've been connecting with it to lift my frequency, have fun, pray and enjoy life with those around me. Now more than ever, I feel anchored and inspired to share this knowledge with you.
